“I’m passionate about overall wellness – physical and existential stuff – what is the purpose of life and how should I live it so that when it ends I have no regrets and I’m content with the life I’ve lived? […] I’ve always wanted to go into healthcare, it really came down to medical school or dental school. I chose dental school because there are so many career pathways to take – private clinic, hospital setting, starting your own clinic, specialization, dental education etc. etc. You can work however much or few hours you want and lots of dentists mention an amazing work life balance. That sounded like something I wanted to do – it struck a happy medium between helping other people and taking care of myself.”
